About the course

Machrihanish has been voted to have "the best opening hole in golf" by golf architects and players and listed in the top 100 golf courses outside the USA by the Golfer's Digest.

Reviews

Quite simply one of the best links courses in Scotland. Also It is one of the toughest especially off the medal tees. Those not up to the high standard required to play the championship course can hone their skills on the equally challenging but shorter ladies course.
