Although Ayr Seafield Golf Club was constituted in 1997, it was originally founded in 1976 as the Annfield Golf Club and latterly as the Gartferry Golf Club.

Seafield Golf Course, S of Ayr, is situated within the grounds of the Belleisle Estate, adjacent to the championship Belleisle Course.

The course is a municipal course run by South Ayrshire Council. A classic combination of links and parkland fairways that will test the skills of even the most experienced golfer.
Seafield Ladies Golf Club also plays over Seafield.
