Course Designer	JR Bain Founded over a hundred years ago, it was rebuilt in 1997 with a new clubhouse and USPGA standard greens.
Location	Set on the cliff top of North Berwick, 6m N of border, two miles from the main A1 road.

About the course	In a recent National poll of Golf Courses in the British Isles, the sixth hole on the course was voted''the most extraordinary golf hole in Great Britain ''.
Course Reviews	This course is top drawer. As a Links course be prepared for a bit of wind off the sea. Every hole here is a pleasure to play but the 5th is WOW! A par 3 with the north sea acting as fairway!! Standing on the tee is frightening and exciting at the same time. Well worth travelling to. Highly recommended. John Vaughan April 23, 2005
