Peebles Golf Club was founded in 1892.
The original course on the SW boundary of the town can still be seen, in outline.
The present Kirklands course was remodelled in 1933/34 by Harry Colt

From Edinburgh approximately 40 minutes south along the A703. North West side of town centre off A72.
From Glasgow, just over an hour's drive along the M8, Edinburgh City by-pass and A703.

• Modern clubhouse development, opened in 1998 by H.R.H. Prince Andrew. Clubhouse balcony overlooking the par three first hole.

About the Course
Peebles is a championship course, having played host in the past to the Scottish Girls, Strokeplay Championship, and Scottish Boys Team Championship; also hosted the Scottish Girls Amateur Championship in 2006.
Peebles have been awarded an Environmental Excellence Award from the Golf Environment Group initiative, one of only 30 in Europe.
