About the Course
The presence of water hazards on 3 holes, as well as some tricky par 3's demands accuracy from the golfer, with uphill and downhill lies creating problems on a number of other holes.

What a very friendly club. The steward and secretary were both extremely helpful - the steward is definitely a comedian - such a warm welcome. The steward asked if we required any breakfasts - we ordered 6 - so he phoned up the chef who came in on a bank holiday and cooked us all some good grub. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were true and fast. The weather was excellent - no wind, glorious sunshine and the temperature a comfortable 20 degrees C. Some very interesting and tricky par 3s and the tree lined fairways and water hazards make this shortish course an interesting challenge. When we had finished our round the steward came back to the club to open the bar for us - usually off on a Bank Holiday Monday - what a star. If I am in the area again I would definitely take the time to play another round there. Tremendous value for money.
