Shoes for hire

First opened in 1897 as a 12 hole course, the championship Jubilee was extended to 18 in 1905. It is the most testing course on the links. A shorter version, the Bronze Course, is available and measures 5573 yards.

Popular with golfers of all abilities, the Golf Practice Centre has 44 driving bays. Several professional teachers base themselves here and there is a short game area for practising putting, pitching and bunker shots. There are special rates and times for juniors.

About the Course

The Jubilee has hosted the Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship, the Boys' Home Internationals, the British Mid-Amateur Championship and, in 2004, it was the venue for the qualifying rounds of the Amateur Championship. The course hosts the St Andrews Links Trophy in alternate years with the New Course.
