the course |
The course has been a European Tour venue and has also hosted
the Scottish PGA Championship.
"The signature hole is the par-four fourteenth, ‘The
Avenue’, stroke index one. This is a 426 yard dog-leg
right to left and to have any chance of making the green in
regulation your drive has to be at least 230 yards to the
middle of the fairway.
The second requires a long shot between a tunnel of trees
to a well bunkered two tier green. If you hit left off the
tee or don’t manage to keep it straight on the second
shot, then you are in the trees!" |
