Course Designer Originally designed by Alec Herd the 1902 Open champion, the course was later redesigned by James Braid.
Location 4m SW of City Centre on A70, within easy reach of all Scotland via the Edinburgh City Bypass.

About the Course The course features picturesque cherry tree-lined fairways and well guarded and relatively small greens.
There are several tough dog leg par fours throughout the 18 with the feature hole coming at the 460 yard par 4 sixteenth.
