Course Designer Hopeman Golf Club was founded in 1909 as a nine hole course. It was extended to eighteen holes in 1985.
Location Between Aberdeen and Inverness on the coast of the Moray Firth: Turn off the A96 at Elgin and follow the signposts for Hopeman (6 miles from Elgin)
• Warm & friendly clubhouse
• Hopeman has beautiful, safe sandy beaches, popular with ramblers and has a caravan site and restaurant within the village.
About the Course Most fairways are jealously guarded by gorse and broom, adding an additional challenge to members and visitors alike. A burn meanders from the 6th tee and is in play at the 2nd, 7th and 18th holes, while the pond close to the 18th green is a factor in deciding on the approach shot.
The superb views over the Moray Firth, where occasionally dolphins can be sighted, are an additional bonus at this excellent golfing location.

great course with great greens played on a wet and windy day but greens were fast and true it is mostly links and the views are great and one of the best par 3 holes you could play.the bar staff and catering were so welcoming and even kept meals open for us late at nite as we hadn't booked our golf so this was great that they waited and had it prepared for us as soon as we got in clubhouse,i would put this down as brilliant for value for money and ratings.we paid £29 for our 2 rounds of golf and just over £10 for 2 main meals one after first round and then another after our round great value
