having played this courses a fair few times over the past few years,i was happy to invite three friends to join me as i had a free fourball voucher to use before the end of 2013 we made a booking for oct 2013 which was accepted with no reservations,on the day of play i phoned the course as we were traveling from glasgow some 2hrs away,we were informed the course was in excellent condition.on arrival we went to pro shop and were told shop may be closed at finish of play,so we were asked to leave keys for caddy cars in cars or at bar,we were showed where changing rooms were and off we set.after arriving at first green we were met with a temp green,no mention of temp greens in pro shop must just be the one we thought, wrong!!!! after playing four holes i phoned shop and was told that the rest of the greens would be on wrong!!! 18 temps..i headed straight to shop after our round and shop was shut,so we headed to clubhouse to make our feelings known, it to was shut,we approached a member who told us there was no way in to get our belongings, frustrated wet and angry we got hold of greenkeeper who made a call and were informed someone would be along to open up.wrong!!! after waiting an hour and a half in the cold and rain nobody bothered showing up and we left...angry dissapointed,,thats not even close. i emailed the club the next morning and got a reply saying they were dissapointed with my unfair comments on the course and that we were told course was in winter conditions. wrong!!! never at any point were we told there end of season is september or told we would be playing winter greens,or told we wouldnt be able to get our belongings from locker room.after this visit i will never be booking this course again, great course poorly run,my marks for this club are based on the day of play
