Comment about the Courses The Montgomery lies in beautiful, unspoilt parkland bordering Loch Leven. Undulating greens, streams, ponds and enticing tree-lined fairways provide a challenging activity to both low and high handicap golfers alike. It is laid out to be a challenge to the good player, while at the same time providing fun and enjoyment for the holiday golfer and those on a club or group outing. A number of holes have views over Loch Leven to the hills beyond. Unlike many courses where so many holes can appear the same, all our holes present very different challenges, often culminating in raised greens with wicked contours!
The Bruce remains a thoroughly enjoyable test of golf. Undulating greens, streams, ponds and enticing tree-lined fairways provide a challenging activity to both low and high handicap golfers alike. There are not many courses where the outward nine holes is Par 39 including a sequence of no less than four Par 5s in six holes - punctuated by the infamous pond hole - the 6th. Many of the fairways are bounded by trees and plantations, a mixture of mature cherries, oaks, beech, ash, pine, larch and spruce offering fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.
