A challenging course that spreads
across a valley. On many holes wayward shots are exaggerated
by catching the slope towards the stream. Holes 7 to 11 and
15 to 18 are all fairly long par 4s or par 5s that encourage
the player to open up. The tricky par 3 second will catch the
shot that falls short and beware of the slope on the 4th green
that can send your ball into a cavernous bunker!
The views are stunning, looking out towards Keynsham and Bath.
Also watch out for the wildlife including dear and pheasant.
The friendly clubhouse provides good meals and there is also
a floodlit driving range. I started my golf career there in
August 2005 and every visitor I have met has commented on how
beautiful the course is and what a joy it is to play.
