The course is set in beautifully picturesque parkland that was originally owned by the Earl of Dudley. The 1st nine holes, founded in 1974, were then developed into a full 18 hole course in 1976 and known as "Blackhills Golf Club".

Situated just 8 miles from Wolverhampton, and a short distance from the Black Country on B4176, 3m from A449 at Himley

The first three holes are open whilst the remainder are locked in avenues of pines, firs and rhododendrons. Apart from first 2 holes all the remainders are tree lined, a great test for golfers of all standards.
Swindon is linked with Perton Park Golf Club, with only 8 miles separating them. Joint membership is available, or members discounts apply on green fees.
