About the Course The sandy heathland has excellent drainage properties, resulting in fine year-round golfing conditions.
Camberley Heath has played host to the Lagonda Trophy and Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship. Famous names who have played the course include Open Champions James Braid, JH Taylor, Harry Vardon and Tommy Armour, as well as the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) and the Duke of York (later King George VI).
