play play the Longcross course...recently played in a Society
meet there and although I was grouped with three 28 handicappers
and spent most of my morning looking for golf balls it did'nt
detract from the fact that this is a quality course. Very
tight in places, lovely par 3's and a couple of par 5's that
are truly stunning. Pay the fee and stand on the tee!!!

Beautiful.....the two courses could not be any more different,
the Brenard Hunt has long wide fairways, but the Longcross
has tight fairways with woodland either side but both beautiful
courses.

Fabulous courses with greens in superb condition. Tight
fairways on Longcross make for a demanding and accurate round
or a very high score! Bernard Hunt more forgiving though more
undulating. Friendly welcome.

Visited this course as part of a weekend golf break and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. That may be a bit of lie as there were times when I considered never picking up a golf club again, however it did seem to coincide with being surrounded by enormous pine trees and deep undergrowth!
Both of the 18 hole championship courses are similar in layout and equally difficult. There is no mercy for the wayward hitter and a good supply of balls is recommended. The condition of the courses overall was very good however there were a lot of unreplaced divots and pitch marks which is probably due to the amounts of corporate golf the courses have to deal with (but don't let this put you off).
The golf club/hotel is situated in beautiful, quiet surroundings kept to the highest standard. It's difficult to believe you are just 5 minutes from the M25.
The rooms were very comfortable and tastefully fitted, the food/drink was impressive and not too overpriced. This experience has definitely encouraged me to arrange further breaks at other locations - a must try!
