Course Designer
JH Taylor - 1904
The Hindhead Golf Club was founded in 1904 by a small group of golfing enthusiasts which included Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who became the Club's first President.
The heathland layout, in fantastic condition all year long, has played host to the qualifying stages for the Open Championship. Dai Rees, Club Professional in 1938, attributed his accurate driving to its narrow fairways.
