The Hindhead Golf Club was founded in 1904 by a small group of golfing enthusiasts which included Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who became the Club's first President.
Location 1.5m N of A3 on A287. M25 J10, 25m
Newly constructed Hindhead Tunnel and bypass gives easy access to the golf club. However if travelling to the club using the southbound carriageway, be aware that the exit to Hindhead is immediately on exit from the tunnel.

About the Course The heathland layout, in fantastic condition all year long, has played host to the qualifying stages for the Open Championship. Dai Rees, Club Professional in 1938, attributed his accurate driving to its narrow fairways.
