What a shame! Played in a Society Comp at Oak Park which, after all the rain, it should have been closed. The course was water logged in many places, almost unplayable, the greens were very very poor, there were lots of T Mats, and no ball washers. It is one of a Golf Group and simply out to make money, it is not a long course, but poorly designed with silly Par 3's and 5's. The club house was clearly not expecting us and we waited an age for coffee and cold bacon rolls. Not worth the price they charged. This is the sad side of having a club taken over by a group who are profit driven and not player focused.

A good all round course with some challenging holes especially the 11th and 14th. Either could ruin your round. Hit a 260 yard drive accoss the corner on the par 5 eleventh and still had to work a 3 wood left to right to leave a 70 yard pitch to the green, missed the birdy put!!! The greens were in good condition but the tees a little waterlogged. Great views across Hampshire from the top of the course.
Staff friendly and helpfull would definitely visit again. Steve G

A delightful course ideal for improving your short game, many of the holes are tricky with some great bunkers and trees as obstacles, a wonderful water hole on the 5, small and friendy club house, good food and beer, with a nice seating area to relax and watch the other golfers play the last green, worth a visit for a short game, 8 out of 10
