This is a relatively easy course that is nonetheless enjoyable, especially for matchplay formats. There is plenty of space for errant drives on most holes, and many of the holes, especially on the back nine, are drivable for the longer hitters and you rarely need more than a short iron second, so scoring is fairly easy.
The downhill par 3 12th is spectacular, whilst the 18th requires a good approach towards the clubhouse.
All in all a good course for mid to high handicappers.
We had a very good value society day there and all were very helpful and friendly. Andy Bustard August 28, 2006
The Course had pot holes on the greens. Also when you phone up to book they tell you it's £25 per round only for you to turn up and find out you can only use your 2 for 1 vouchers if you book a £40 round which this cousre is noway near worth £40. A Rip off. Jerry Page June 5, 2009
