Deceptively forgiving, wide 1st tee belies some challenging longer holes but a great course for those who love to "drive for show".
Novel kitchen chalet mid-way with a resident South African chef happy to rustle-up an energising steak sandwich (the best excuse for slow play I've yet to hear). Impressive final hole provides an opportunity to open the shoulders for a last hurrah with the "Bertha+". Let down a little by the old England air at the clubhouse which can irritate anyone not accustomed to re-donning their jacket when seated, at a member's behest - especially if you happen to be footing the bill for dinner!
