Club Comment Maesteg Golf Club offers golfers of all abilities and levels a well maintained James Braid designed course of considerable character and maturity (Est. 1912).
The golf club delivers a course sculpted from naturally picturesque surroundings with pronounced rolling terrain and stunning views of 2 counties from our hill top location. A real treat for the society golfer or any visitor who likes a very warm welcome from what is inherently a player's club.
We are a well established club with a modern clubhouse, welcoming both members and visitors during the week and at weekends.

maesteg golf club was a great disapointment to me and my society the course was awful the greens where uneven dry. and cracked. verypoor. tees and fairways bald. with more moss than grass. rough was ok i highly recommend you avoid. this. place. we asked for our money back which the pro did with embarrassment. we were told that. they are going under. Not surprised. clubhouse was ok

Played this course today course was extremely wet and the greens are very boggy. This was my 3rd visit to maesteg my 1st back in oct 2013 the course was in very good condition the clubhouse was clean and tidy. Greensstaff very friendly and helpfull my trolley wheel came off on the course the headgreenkeeper. Fixed it for me. Thanks dude. My second visit was last. June the greens had been scarified to a poor standard. The course was in average condition. I found out after the headgreenkeeper had moved on and it showed. The clubhouse was clean and tidy and staff helpfull. I will be back in the area in july I hope it will improve by then
