This scenic course has plenty of character. The front nine are tricky, with
the only drawback being the 6th-9th up and down par fives, but this apparently
due to training pilots in WW2. The back nine is much more hilly with some cracking
holes, the hardest of which are the long par 3s and the SI 1 15th that climbs
up the mountain. A tough course that will benefit the straighter players due to
the rough and very large, old trees it is very enjoyable and well manicured. Club
house friendly, but not spectacular. 8/10. Jack D August 1, 2005
