I have played this course a number of times over the last three years and each time find it really great. Set in wonderful countryside with natural habitat, this is a challenging course which needs a bit more thought than other courses I usually play. A traditional 9 hole course, with the 2nd 9 holes playing off different tees.
The tees and fairways are very well maintained and the greens are well placed; some protected by bunkers others more openly designed for a more substantial second hit. Once on the greens you will find them in great condition. I have managed to play with a few of their members and find Plassey Golf Club very relaxing with a great friendly atmosphere. Clubhouse offers a good range of food and drink at good prices.
If I lived a bit nearer I would consider membership which is only about £300 per year which is well below the average. In addition to the course and clubhouse they have their own Driving Range and smaller Par 3 Course. Green fees about £9 for 9 holes or £16 for 18 holes. Offers great value for a course in such great condition.
