Nice friendly and helpful staff, a course suited to beginners due to fairways forgivingly wide, but challenging for all, and you get to watch airplanes taking off and landing close by! I started my golf here and play everyweek quite happily, prices are reasonable (municipal course) large practice driving area on grass at present but could do with driving range to allow more people to practice. good course!

course is very basic no driving range & no buggies. fairways and greens can vary in condition. it is whuoe i learned to play and occasionall still do. the price in summer is stupid for the quality of the course. staff can be quite rude on phone & in shop. food is the best thing about the club its both nice & value for money suggest grade 4 breakfast fill u up. the course is also open to people walkng their dogs & kids from over sheldon country park who wilst i havbe paid ride bikes on course batter the greens with clubs nicked my ball when playing & jumpe on in front of us.
good points are flat course for all fitnesses the pga professional is very good. the other thing this club misses is any water hazards and bunkers are full of stones and sometimes its like hitting concrete if u have the unfortune of playin temp greens be aware a few are were they just put holes in green. the best moments i had there were my 1st eagle on par 4 7th.
drainage on some holes is that bad that after heavy rainfall on 4this lik playing over 2 deep pools and bunkers can flood making them unplayable
