"July 2008 saw big changes to the golf course. The changes include 3 new holes built on a new piece of land. A 506 yard Par 5, a 142 yard Par 3 and a 355 Yard Par 4. 3 current holes were taken out of play, and the extra space used to improve the current holes.
The alterations brought the course back upto a 6069 yard Par 70., adding approximately 300 yards onto its length.
Following the introduction of the new holes, work has begun on a new green and lake on the 11th hole making it an interesting dog leg left over water. The work will not interfere with play as we shall be using the old 14th green whilst work is completed."

Course Reviews
Having played Wishaw recently, I can only say what a pleasure it was, the course was very well maintained with well defined shape to the fairways. The course was interesting to play with some well thought out water hazards.

Only played 9 holes but the course was in excellent condition. Fantastic first tee is high up and gives great views and a good drive will fly down the hill. However the 9th is back up the same hill and is a good test of you distance and height shots (we struggled!). The 'rough' is newly planted so will provide more of a challenge over time, however at the moment all is not lost if you stray off the fairway. Overall fantastic course. Max Keeling April 2, 2007
