About the Course
The Griffin course is noticeable for its lack of bunkers as it benefits from a combination of tricky tight fairways and small greens, requiring accurate golf to make a score here. A person who thinks their way around can really make the most of the shorter par fours and avoiding the water is always a good play. Both the Griffin & the Phoenix wind through tree lined areas but the Phoenix has a more open middle section to allow players a bit of freedom.
The Griffin Course was home to the Sussex Open in 2006/07.
