played here last weds(23/7/14) as a reciprocal arrangement with my own club and was very impressed.first class practice facilities and club house followed by a well conditioned course greet you.
its quite a demanding course in that there are steep inclines in places and long walks between holes, but buggies can be hired if need be.
the course is tight in places and the driver is only used on a few holes as if you are a long hitter you could easily end up in the streams that cross the fairway in places.
we played on a very hot day but id imagine the course could get very wet in adverse weather owing to the run offs on the hilly parts but on the whole a very nice course.

A challenging, physically demanding course with some steep climbs at the end of each nine. There are also some long walks green to tee but the effort is well worth it.
The course is heavily wooded, literally being carved out of woodland in some places.
The Blackwater River makes its presence felt on a number of holes, but mercifully only a few bunkers caych you out.
