Both courses have lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers
and generous greens to challenge golfers whatever their handicap.
The two courses occupy 162 hectares and feature undulating
terrain meandering through pockets of palms and ornamental
trees, shrubs and seven salt water lakes.
To maintain the lush greenery of the National and Garden,
over two million gallons of water are pumped into the courses
every day.
Host to the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship won by Chris DiMarco
in 2006 and by Paul Casey in 2007. The 2008 edition is being held from Jan 17th to 20th.
