Course Designer In March 2002 His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qassimi announced the award of a contract to design, build and operate the new Tower Links 18-hole golf course to Dubai-based Company, Hydroturf International.
Nov 2003 saw the successful completion of phase 1 in the Tower Links Golf Course Project, Ras Al Khaimah.
Location Ras Al Khaimah is the most northerly of the 7 emirates.
Facilities The concept for the clubhouse has been to introduce a contrast between the old architecture of the Middle East on one side and a new glass functional design for the other. There are extensive balcony and terrace areas around the building to allow al fresco dining with a stunning backdrop.

Full catering facilities available from Nov 2004
The Spike Bar is the place to head to after a round of Golf or practice session. The bar will serve a variety of hot and cold easy-to-eat meals.
Golf academy complete with fully floodlit driving range, practice putting greens, practice chipping green as well as the back nine holes
Air conditioned Swing Analysis Centre
P.G.A Qualified Golf Professionals
Phase 1 includes nine holes and practice facilities

This is now being followed in phase 2 by a further nine holes, a clubhouse and an academy.

Future developments
- The landscaping of the course will include over 2,000 palms, 6,000 trees, and 100,000 shrubs.

- There will be 21 residential Chalets. These will be fully furnished and serviced Chalets which can be rented.

- The Sports Complex will be a stand-alone building. It will house a fully equipped gymnasium, squash courts, tennis courts, swimming pool and sports bar.
Description The 18-hole grass fully floodlit golf course and academy is the first golf course in Ras Al Khaimah and the second of its kind in the UAE.
The unique character of Tower Links is derived from it being sited in and around a Mangrove reserve.
Instead of Bermuda grass a new species of grass, Paspallum, has been sown. Paspallum is saline tolerant and as a result, reduces the costs associated with golf course construction in the Gulf. Unusually for the Gulf, Bermuda grass has not been used on the fairways. Instead, a new species of grass, Paspallum, has been sown. Paspallum is saline tolerant, the saline water used for the irrigation acts as a natural pesticide, & Paspalum grass reduces the level of fertilizer usage, all this combining to diminish the adverse impact on the environment.

In the near distance, the Hajar mountains further enhance the already natural quality of the course.
