Reviews
I started playing on this course in 2004 and it has always been in very pristine shape. I only play on Monday of course as that is only day they have a special price. It used to be 450 rmb and lunch or dinner was included. The following year the menu was changed and became very basic but still adequate. This year the price has gone up to 480 rmb.
However, if Monday is a holiday the rate goes up to 1480 rmb. G figure.
There are cheaper places to golf in Beijing but the courses are not as well kept. I am from Canada and, of course, we do not have caddies and would not want one if they were available. At times they can be a nuisance while you wait for your clubs and they are talking on the phone or sending text messages. They expect a tip and we were told the going rate was 50 rmb.
Two weeks ago three of us each gave our caddy the 50 rmb and they almost threw it back in our faces. Who knows? I guess maybe some of the more well healed members give them 100 rmb for doing next to nothing but i certainly don't think they are worth it. So the course is very nice and well groomed and the staff on the desk is very nice but the caddies can be a bit rude and aggressive when it comes time to say goodbye.
