The name of the project, "Nine Dragons" comes from
the nine hills that run through the site resembling the backs
of nine dragons.
"Initial plans for the Nine Dragons project have the
championship course to be one of, if not the most dramatic
course in China. The site lends itself to magnificent vistas
of both the ocean and the valley below, while providing a
backdrop for some of the most dramatic and challenging golf
holes anywhere to be seen."
