Course Reviews
Nice in parts, very expensive, no atmosphere, poor facilities. give it a miss. Bert Craven November 6, 2008
Have you just taken 5 hours to complete 18 holes on a mediocre golf course, following male players who have handicaps of 36 and can not hit a ball to save their lives? I have and so will you if you play el gouna golf course. It is a pure pay and play course certainly not PGA standard, as advertised, and is not affiliated to any golf union. The standard of play can be from learners hacking round with a so called professional having 'on course' lessons through to some decent players. It is frustrating taking so long between shots and queing on every tee.
They are trying to cram as many players in as possible and does not warrant the total cost of 100 Euro per round cost. Good luck to those who are going here and you will not have time for much else during your stay. Ian Young November 22, 2008
