The Coimbatore Golf Club was started in 1977. Leading Coimbatore Industrialist K.Rajagopal of the Lakshmi Mills Group, is the main person behind this big endeavor of bringing quality golf to Coimbatore.
Location
Coimbatore, at the base of the Nilgiri Mountains, is the gateway to the famous golf resort at Ootacamund primarily known for its of textile industry.
The present course is located 16 kilometers from Coimbatore city and is accessible by various roads.
