Course Designer The second oldest golf course in Kenya began in 1910 by Reggie McClure and G. Sandbach Baker. The course was extended to eighteen holes in 1934.
Location Situated 1,872 meters above sea level, next to the Outspan Hotel - home of Lord Baden Powell - the founder of the Boy Scouts Nyeri Club.

This difficult mountainous course and offers exquisite scenery (Mt Kenya can be seen from the 6th tee).
Well bunkered greens, deep roughs and very tall evergreens plus a stream and a valley all contribute to make it a tough course.
