In 1906, Kenya's oldest club was started asa nine-hole golf course and club house .
The Royal Golf Club ("Royal" after King George V) reciprocates with all other "Royal" clubs worldwide.
Location
Located in Nairobi's Ngong Road, with a panoramic view of the Ngong Hills as one drives up to the club's entrance.
This long course is very well maintained. The front nine is relatively flat, while the back nine is more hilly.
The Royal Golf Club holds an annual Easter tournament for the Tannahill Shield. and it hosts some of the country's most prestigious events.

Facilities in fairly good condition. I must mention that service and staff friendliness need a lot of work. Definitely not a course my friends or I want to visit again. Nairobi offers many comparable facilities with better service. Management needs to do a better job to get the culture of service back.

Course was in pretty nice condition other than the greens. There were many greens that were very thin and had thin patches throughout them, which made it a bit tough to judge your putting and consistency needed for other greens. Practice tee needs working on, but over all a nice day golfing..And not a bad course.. Just a few fixing points needing fixing..
