If your handicap is higher than 15 - forget it.
Alternatively take lots of balls that you are happy to lose
- because you almost certainly will.
Some of the carries are huge, so it really is not much fun
for the higher handicap player.
On the other hand it is a most spectacular setting.

Great course overall, very long fairways, fast greens, stunning
views!! Great service!

Tough, tough course but achingly, jaw droppingly beautiful. I only lost 2 balls (18 H'cap) but it's difficult for high handicappers so take your A game and don't play off the back tee on the 1st! If it starts going wrong just relax and enjoy the outstanding natural beauty and marvel that a course could be built here at all...

An amazing course, would recommend to all. I play off 15 and had the round of my life shooting an 82 (+10). Designed by Bernhard Langer it oozes quality from the practice ground to the final green. Condition of the course was great even though repairs were taking place. Long carries on nearly ever hole (spare balls a must), sometimes playing blind shots. A great day from start to finish.
The staff are friendly and buzz round in their buggies to ensure your round is as enjoyable as it can be.

I have had the privilege of playing this course on several occasions. Off the champonship tees (blue)scores have ranged from 82 to 72. I play off 4.
If the wind blows, leave the driver in the clubhouse. Forsake distance for accuracy. It is at a real premium here.
The greens are in the most cases exceptionally narrow and demand accurate placement of approach shots. Again - going for the pin is often not the smart shot.
The greens are perhaps the easiest aspect. The may be tight but they are true. If you have a good stroke then you will hole puts. They are very true but were running slower than I expected.
There is every chance of losing golf balls here but just relax and enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenary you are ever likely to see on a golf course.
Enjoy!
