The Marrakech Royal Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Morocco, it is constantly being renovated and improved and it also happens to be one of His Majesty King Hassan ll's favourite courses.
It is situated at the feet of the snow-covered Atlas mountains and is embellished by a profusion of cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees.
It is an "English style" course with strategically placed bunkers protecting its greens and testing tall trees and palms. Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George and Ike Eisenhower have enjoyed playing here.

Reviews
An old style course that is unfortunately showing it's age. Very short and 'samey', it's also suffering from poor maintenance. There is now a third nine that might throw some interest into the mix. But with the increasing number of courses around Marrakech there are better options available. The Amelkis just up the round is infinitely more interesting.
Off course facilities are also looking tired with a poor restaurant and dingy changing rooms.
