Course Designer
The new course, developed by Golf Data on the site of the first course in the Hottentots-Holland Basin, was opened in 1994.
Location
Situated close to the sandy beaches of False Bay and to the Cape Winelands, about 35 minutes from Cape Town, the course is only separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land - along which Beach Road runs.

Renowned for its fresh and strong breezes sometimes even gales. In fact an annual tournament called the 'Southeaster' is held here in their honour every April. Strand, which is not very long, is also known for its numerous water hazards.
