The course was opened in 1957 and initially only for the employees of the Durban Deep Gold Mine.
Location
From Sandton travel on N1 towards Roodepoort. Take the 14th Avenue turn-off.
Turn right into William Nicol North and turn right into Ontdekkers Road .
At the 2nd traffic light turn left into Golf Club Terrace and pass Florida lake on left hand side. At the T-junction turn right into Main Reef Road . Pass 4 sets of traffic lights and at the traffic circle turn left into Durban Deep Gold Mine.
Club is on left hand side after following the fork to the right over the stop street.
