The El Kantaoui Golf Course which was built in 1979 on a 130 Ha / 320 acre site on the side of a hill has two 18 hole courses each offering different playing conditions.
The "Sea Course"extends from the beach to the hill and the "Panorama Course"starts from the hill and winds its way through the residential and hotel district of the Port El Kantaoui seaside resort.
The "Sea Course" seems to be the easier of the two as the "Panorama Golf Course" requires more feeling.
Some fairways run across an olive grove dotted with large lakes, others hug to the beach.
Anecological site
It is noted for its rich flora & fauna (migrating birds & wild hares in particular) and reminds you of a true botanical garden with its numerous flowers, bushes & ornamental trees.
Has been the venue for several Tunisian Opens.
