Reviews
As a lady member with a high handicap, I can recommend this course and golf club to both men and women. A full 27 holes means 4 courses can be played.
The terrain is undulating but fear not, you don't need to be a mountain goat. It is open meadow land with magnificent sea views, wide fairways and no trees.
Some gorse can swallow the odd wayward ball and a couple of holes have water which is a reasonable challenge but not difficult. If you would like a buggy, they can be booked in advance or on the day if available. Driving range and practice area facilites are also there is you want them as are lessons.
Snacks or quality meals in the restaurant are good value. What's more you can book accomodation ay Hunly Hall Hotel, enabling you to stay longer and sample the local North Yorkshire Moors and coastline.
Visitors receive a warm welcome and new ladies are especially welcomed here as the club tries to encourage women and beginners of all ages. Ladies, please give it a try as I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
