The course features many interesting holes, the 10th and 14th being a fine test of golf but without doubt good scoring at Oakdale will require you to play the par 3's well. The 6th is a 207 yard hole of great character, the 9th being the signature hole of only 153 yards presents a water hazard in front of the shallow green and the 12th a 181 yard hole having water again in front of the green.
In the past the club has hosted professional tournaments and at present hosts the prestigious Oakdale Acorn, a Yorkshire Order Of Merit event.
