Course Description An 18 hole undulating parkland course measuring just over 6000 yards which offers a challenge to golfers of every standard. Views from the clubhouse and course are magnificent including Sharphaw, Crookrise and the Embsay fells. Eller Beck running down from the fells adds a beautiful water hazard on the back 9.

First and only time played in Seniors Open Championship (August 2013). First impressions are that this Golf Club is determined to look the part, everything is neat and tidy however visitors changing room could be improved, but that is a minor issue. Club House friendly well organised with a decent food menu. Drink and Food all competitively priced.
The course on my visit was well prepared, with close cut fairways. Greens running at about 9/10 so putting was fine. Skipton is not long but very undulating in places so be ready for a good walk. Difficult to fault this track. Low handicappers could score low here, mid handicappers will find some holes challenging. If you're in the district make sure you give this a go.

Fantastic, challenging but fantastic. Not too long and not too short, some tricky holes but not ridiculously impossible.
