Played this course in July and were amazed to discover 2 temporary greens in play. You do not expect this in the height of summer and we were not forewarned and were offered a reduction in cost. Mick White August 11, 2005
Superb course with some nice par 3 holes thrown in. Quite tight fairways that punish any sliced drives. Quite hilly.

A mature golf course which is relatively short but still a test for all handicaps. Tends to be very dry in summer and very wet in winter. Greens at the moment are in excellent condition. Clubhouse and Pro shop very friendly and reasonably priced. All in all excellent value at £11.50 on a week day. Only gripe is that rounds do tend to take over 4 hours.

Enjoyed a fantastic day at Beauchief where we had a corporate day. We were looked after by eveyone to a high level. As for the course, it was a real challenge to someone of my meagre ability, but it is a beautiful cource, one that I will be returning to in the near future. Highly recommended.
