Very well kept course but can be challenging at times. As
the 11th hole is extremely long, a par is a great effort there.
Also Iwould say the easiest hole is the 8th a short par 4
and for all of the long hitters can be reached in one.

Played this course for the first time on Good Friday. Really
enjoyable day. Course was in good condition and a credit to
DMBC. Very interesting 10th hole which can catch you out.
Best go for safety!!
Good value 7 day membership available. Will be playing this
one again in the near future.

Good, well kept course but cant really tell the difference
between rough and fairways. A bit hilly up and down. 11th
hole is a long par 4 need to clear second trench if to reach
in 3.
All around 7/10

Crookhill is a great golf course i go on it with my friend
and we are 12 we get a couple over par mainly but it isn't
that easy.

A superb golf course with facilities to cater all. By far
the best golf course in the Doncaster district. Rated in the
top 10 municipal golf courses in the country. Even though
this course is run by Doncaster council, it is in excellent
condition all year round.

The best municipal course Ihave played on, the par 4 11th
is a testing hole even for the hardened golfer, congratulations
Doncaster DMBC.

A very reasonably priced course set between Rotherham and
Doncaster. Unusual in that it starts with a Par 5. Many challenging
holes. A great 18th to finish with. Clubhouse and facilities
have been rebuilt. Good deals on membership too. Only issue
is that some of the members have been particularly rude and
officious to myself. A number of holes that I would say are
worth the price of a round though. Book early.

It is about 5 years since I played this course last and believe
me it will be the last. Played 19/10/06 the place was a mess
the greens were the worst i've ever played. This course has
gone backwards. The tee boxes are awful, I booked a tee time
1 hour before I played and was not told about the winter greens
add to that we got on the 1st tee 20 mins late because they
had crammed too many in so finished 4 holes because of slow
play and bad light.
Never ever again will I put myself through the pain of playing
this sorry excuse for a golf course I would go as far as to
say I would not accept a years free membership, at £12
it was £12 over priced.
An awful course never again !!!!

Played here in July of this year, and had a wizard round. The course and facilities were so good I've organised our annual competition here with colleagues and friends. I think it's my best chance of winning it as my putter was like a magic wand around the greens here at crookhill 9/10

For a municipal course this must rank near the top. Greens are good, holes varied and challenging. Big problems though with slow play. I've played lots over the summer and autumn. 4 hours a round not acceptable. Won't be back.
