Hard course to play. Very challenging. Must visit the restaurant, food is marvelous and staff are even better and ever so polite.

I have played this course on a number of occasions and it must be one of the most challenging and well maintained courses in the region. The greens are in excellent condition all year round and the 18th feels like Ben Nevis if you`ve had a bad round!! However, definitely recommended.

Great course to play and has become better under new membership. Greens are in mint condition as is the whole course. Keep it up guys !

Grange Park is a well put together course. It is a golf course of outstanding beauty. Not at all a hard course but a real pleasure to play.

I played Grange Park in January of 2006. The course layout is great for a course of its type with great views over Sheffield and Rotherham, but take heed of this: DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE IN THE WINTER. I was told (after paying a non refundable green fee) that trollies were banned, not ideal when you only have a 10 inch trolley bag with you. The course was so wet it was unplayable, so quickly became an ordeal I endured for 11 holes before I gave up. The clubhouse is comfortable and the welcome was warm until the stroke of 3pm when we were unceremoniously ejected with the words of the stewardess ringing in my ears "we close at 3 you know". Thank god I hadn't played 18 and trudged up hell hill at 3.05pm. I might have cried.
Give it a go, but wait till May.

A great golf course with many testing holes. A tricky finish that can spoil many cards. Each hole is a test in its own right. If I have a gripe, it is the bunkers are a little sparse with sand in places and I lost three golf balls when the ball was from a blind tee shot down the centre. Fabulous views of Sheffield, open to the elements in places but all in all a great course for under £20 per round.

Played here tue 18/07/06. Course in excellent condition, greens true, even the 18th was a joy to STROLL up. Keep up the great work. Best course in South Yorkshire

Phil July 21, 2006

Very nice course, signature hole has to be the 19th. Great view, nice food. Membership fees are excellent, £83 for the juniors. Has to be played.

What a course! I have been a member here for a year now and words cannot describe the amount of enjoyment i get out of playing this course. The course has improved hugely in the space of a year: Greens, drainage etc. This Course is a must play to everyone in the country. I have never considered leaving this club!

Tom Henshaw July 31, 2006

The Grange is a very disappointing course, it is very damaged and needs sorting out, some holes have trenches on them, apparently for 'drainage' purposes...The grange has a lot of potential, sort it out lads.
