"The course which is hill top' gently undulates over parkland with traces of moorland, and is not overly long at 6,302 yards. It is being improved continually to a standard that the original members could not have imagined. In the recent past, new greens have been added, major drainage has been undertaken on fairways, bunkers have been added, re-made and in some cases moved to improve the standard of the whole. Some 4,000 plus native trees have been planted."
