Being a new golfer, I found this course to be very challenging but very exciting. the hardest holes have to be the 4th and 17th, they are both across a ravine, which looks very hard when standing on the tee,but after playing your shot and look back over your shoulders you find the distance in not very far. I only par 1 hole, the 14th par 3 (on green in 1, botteld it). some good hard holes and long fairways, it gives you confidence when you hit the greens in 2 or 3 shots like I did.(again putting let me down), must try harder. I played this course as a beginner, enjoyed the experience greatly and found it to be very challenging.
There are plenty of wide spacious fairways so can be quite forgiving if tend to hook or slice slightly as i do.
Hole 4 and 17 are the hardest without a doubt as the tee shot requires a long drive over a large ravine.
Watch out for cannonball alley where four of the holes share a single fairway which can be confusing at times if you dont know the course that well.
That said i would definitely play here again. Ian Dimmock May 30, 2005
