"Temple Newsam boasts 2 demanding 18 hole courses set in undulating parkland. The fairways are generous and often inviting but beware the natural hazards, including trees on most holes and streams that come into play on 8 of the 36 holes."
"At more than 300 years old, Temple Newsam House is probably most famous as the birthplace of Lord Darnley (consort of Mary Queen of Scots)."

Course Reviews
Both courses are in excellent condition for Public Courses.
The courses are generally very varied and challenging with a large number of "character holes".
Both courses are hilly in places which, although can be arduous contribute positively to the general character of the courses.
Take plenty of balls as the rough is usually left long.
