Q&A'S
| |
Should
I buy custom or branded golf clubs?
|
There
are several factors involved in choosing clubs:
-
budget
- type of clubs (peripherally weighted, muscleback, etc)
You
should try hitting a few clubs and if possible play a round or two
with a demo set to decide how they feel and if they play the way
you like. You should always make sure you feel comfortable with
clubs, the different types of clubhead, shafts and grips are all
down to personal preference.
Custom
fit clubs are, of course, built for you and are less expensive than
branded clubs. Branded clubs are built to fit the average golfer.
If
you decide to have clubs built, ensure that you research well the
custom clubmaker before you place your order. Bear the following
in mind:
-
recommendations for existing customers
- clubmakers knowledge and experience
- clubmaker should assess your skills and analyse your swing
