GOLF Q&A'S

What is the correct etiquette when playing golf?

- Invite faster groups of players to play through.
- Do not leave your ball in the hole after a putt. Golfers tend to believe that if another ball is in the hole already, theirs will not fit!
- If you putt near the hole, but do not play the shot out, you should use a coin or ball marker to mark your ball. Other players can be distracted and incur a two-point penalty if their ball hits yours.
- Do not stand directly behind another golfer's target line - this is a distraction.
- Do not write your scores until the next tee.
- Be ready to play when it is your turn, having already surveyed the green, etc whilst others are teeing off.
- Do not leave the cart path with a cart.
